Chamber member HigherUp offers workshop on Sexual Harassment Training on March 18th

Sexual Harassment Prevention & Anti-Abusive Conduct Training for Supervisors

Effective January 1, 2015 the new Anti-Abusive Conduct laws require the addition of Anti-Abusive Conduct training to the Mandatory Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Supervisors (AB 1825).  Below is an overview of the training requirements:

  • Applies to all California employers with 50+ employees
  • Anyone who supervises/manages 1 or more employees must complete a comprehensive and interactive 2 hour training program every 2 years
  • Anyone who moves into a position requiring them to supervise/manage 1 or more employees must complete the training within 6 months of moving into the position
  • The course must be taught by a qualified professional and include very specific materials and information

Since we know how important this is, we are offering the mandatory Sexual Harassment Prevention & Anti-Abusive Conduct Training for Supervisors via web conference Wednesday, March 18 from 10am - 12pm (PST).

The interactive course will be 2 hours in length and will include a quiz. Attendees that successfully complete the course and quiz will receive a signed certificate. Post-training reports will be provided to employers, including employee completion verification.

Registration is only $5/attendee and covers the cost of all materials, certificates and post-training employer reports. Space is limited! If you are interested, please reply as soon as possible to crogers@gohigherup.com and include the following information:

  • Company name
  • Mailing address
  • Primary contact (name, title, email and phone)
  • Number of employees that will attend

Please note registration ends March 13th.

Thanks as always!
