Luncheon Alliance
The next networking lunch will be Wednesday, August 6th, 2014, at 11:45am at Altadena Town and Country Club. Nicola Boarland Photography sponsors our networking Luncheon Alliance in June..
The price for the Pasadena Chamber Luncheon Alliance will be $25 for members and $30 for non-members who register in advance and $5 more for those who do not register before the Monday deadlines. The cost for quarterly subscriptions is $65.
Breakfast Connection
Thursday, August 14th at 7am, MX3 Insurance Agency sponsors our Connection Breakfast at The Courtyard by Marriott at 180 N. Fair Oaks Avenue.
Cost to attend the networking breakfast is now $25 for Pasadena Chamber members who pay in advance and $30 for non-members who pay in advance. Those who do not reserve by the Monday prior to the event or show up at the door pay $5 more. Three month subscription cost is $65.

Pasadena Chamber Young Professionals meet for Happy Hour August 28th
Join working and professional people between the ages of 21 and 40 for happy hour, networking and friendship as the Young professionals of Pasadena meet for Happy Hour on Thursday, May 22nd at 6:30pm. SIP-tember: A Celebration of the Cocktail and the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge
For 2014, SIP-tember returns August 15th for six weeks, culminating in the Taste of Pasadena and SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge Finale on September 25th at the Rose Bowl.
Pasadena celebrates the cocktail during SIP-tember, with some of our favorite Pasadena Chamber member restaurants offering some of their favorite cocktails. Trattoria Neapolis, Kings Row Gastroub, Japon Bistro and Vertical Wine Bistro are joined by New York Deli’s Speakeasy, SORRISO and Bar Celona, as well as PUNCH in taking the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge.
Drinks being offered for the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge include special margaritas, new interpretations of traditional cocktail and some specially created drinks from some of Pasadena’s premiere mixologists.
During SIP-tember, you can taste the Far East Mule or Pear Martini from Sushi Roku. And, you can try the Jala Pina Rita from Ruth’s Chris Steak House or their Strawberry Basil Gimlet. Central Park offers their popular Sangria or you can recover from the work week (or work day) with their Stress Reliever. Revisit your childhood (but with vodka) when you taste the Orange Julius from Clearman’s Galley or refresh with a Pomegranate Martini.
That’s not all! A/K/A Bistro has two new drinks on the menu, the Jalopeno and Cucumber and the Fair Trade Tea. Want to try an Exquisite Old Fashioned or maybe a Strawberry Surprise? Stop by New York Deli and try them. Or maybe the Watermelon King or Berry Breeze from the Tap Room at the Langham Huntington Hotel will be your favorites.
Once again, SIP-tember: A Celebration of the Cocktail culminates in a grand taste-off at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Everyone attending the Taste of Pasadena that evening will be able to taste the four finalist cocktails and vote for your favorite.
