Business Development Committee

Meets bi-monthly on the fourth Friday at 8:00 AM at
Dilbeck Realty at 132 East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena.
The Business Development Committee provides accessible and productive networking and educational opportunities for the membership. They oversee the Connection Breakfast and Luncheon Alliance and produce the annual Business Showcase & Contracting Connection. Reservations for these very popular events can be made by calling the Chamber office.
Member Services Committee
Chair: Wendy Anderson, WOW! Productions
The Member Services Committee advises the Board on matters related to support for members by the Chamber. Members services advises on the quality and quantity of programs and opportunities to serve the membership. The committee also advises on member retention and new member recruitment activities of the Chamber. The committee oversees the member service activities of the Chamber and Chamber staff.
Ambassadors Committee
Chair: Joan De Souza, PartyLite
Meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 – 8:30 AM at
Villa Gardens at 842 E. Villa St. in Pasadena.

The purpose of the Ambassador Committee is to directly involve a group of active members of the chamber of commerce in the development and growth of the organization through membership recruitment and retention programs; and to communicate the mission, goals and programs of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce to area business and professional people.
Workforce Development Committee
Chair: Joel Bryant, Trademark Development
The purpose of the Workforce Development Committee is to facilitate collaborations to ensure that Pasadena has an educated workforce and a school system that helps attract and retain businesses and their employees. This committee will also look at issues that affect the stability of the workforce in Pasadena such as increasing local employers’ access to job seekers, working with the City of Pasadena to help increase access to affordable housing and to ensure access to child care. Meets the first Wednesday of each month.
Government and Legislative Affairs Committee
Chair: Michael D’Antuono, National Construction Alliance
The charge of the Government Affairs and Legislative Committee of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is to monitor and recommend positions to the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors on issues impacting the business community and/or the general membership. Meets the third Tuesday of each month.
Task Forces and Ad Hoc Committees
As needed, task forces and ad hoc committees are appointed by the board of directors to address issues that affect the business community. These groups do in-depth studies of specific issues and prepare recommendations for positions or actions for the board of directors.
