The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce collaborate to present the 5th Business and Economic Summit.
Hear local business and industry leaders discuss our local and regional economy. Tickets are $50 per person and include lunch and parking. Corporate tables are available for $400, which includes a table for 8 with signage and recognition in the event program and parking.
Featured speaker is Somjita Mitra, Ph.D, Director of the Institute for Applied Economics at the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC). Panelists will discuss the impacts technology and innovation, the arts and entrepreneurship have on the economy of Pasadena. The panel will be moderated by Eric Duyshart, Economic Development Manager with the City of Pasadena. Panelists include Tom Soderstrom, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Pasadena Mayor Terry Tornek will provide welcoming remarks. There will also be a brief update on development activity in Pasadena.
Our Featured Speaker will discuss the current state of the local and regional economy as well as trends, concerns and issues to watch for in the future. Panelists will discuss their industry and its economic impact in Pasadena, including a look ahead at trends and issues that may impact their companies.
