Peekaboo Gallery is a new fine art show room in Old Pasadena focused on the Pop Culture of the last century and a half. The Peekaboo Lobby is a carefully curated and ever-changing presentation of culturally significant décor items and art treasures. The Main Peekaboo Gallery houses a bi-monthly, fully-immersive, experiential exhibit dedicated to a single category of Pop Culture.

The debut exhibition is a theatrical display of the Atari Age, titled 25¢ a Play: The Art of the Videocade. This incredible event brings together rare and highly sought arcade video games and pinball machines–all of which have been painstakingly restored to original condition, with the largest collection of original, published, prototype, and preliminary video game art ever assembled.

And ALL of it is available for purchase!

From Asteroids to Zaxxon, and including all of the iconic arcade games one would have seen in a 1980s Mall Arcade, alongside the original artwork for classic Atari Home Video Console Games like GalaxianMaze Craze, and the Holy Grail of video game art: Raiders of the Lost Ark.

At 3PM on Saturday, May 26th, Pasadena Mayor, Terry Tornek, will perform a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and several of the original Atari Production Artists will be in attendance to sign books of their art, and Tim Lapatino's The Art of Atari
