Rose Bowl & Rose Parade

Rose Parade

Rose Queen and Court

For more than 120 years, Pasadena has hosted the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day. From its modest beginnings, the parade has grown to become the premiere event of its kind, attracting marching bands, equestrians and floats from around the world. Estimates are that more than 1 million people come to Pasadena to witness the Rose Parade firsthand as it makes its way 5 ½ miles from Tournament House on Orange Grove Boulevard through downtown Pasadena to Pasadena High School on Sierra Madre Boulevard.

The Rose Bowl® Game, the Granddaddy of them All®, pits the best of the Pac 10 conference against the best of the Big 10 conference in college football’s most storied venue. Every four years, the Rose Bowl hosts the BCS National Championship Game, as well.
