Business and Economic Summit October 24th

Join us for the annual City of Pasadena and Pasadena Chamber Economic and Business Summit October 24, 2024, at 11:30am at Altadena Town and Country Club. 

The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce invite leaders of business and industry in Pasadena discuss our local economy, their industries and the future of business in Pasadena at the third Pasadena Business and Economic Summit on Thursday, October 24, 2023, from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Altadena Town and Country Club at 2290 Country Club Drive in Altadena. Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the club and on the street.

Stephen Cheung, President and CEO of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation will provide the keynote.

The event will feature an economic overview, a look at current development and economic initiatives in Pasadena from City Economic Development Director David Klug.

Caltech's Fred Farina, director of the Office of Technology Transfer and Corporate Partnerships will discuss efforts at creating businesses from research.

Duane Waliser, Chief Scientist of the Earth Science and Technology Directorate at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, will discuss NASA/JPL’s research programs including the airborne and satellite program. 

Cost to attend the Pasadena Economic and Business Summit is $90 and includes the program, lunch and parking. A corporate table of eight, which includes signage and recognition on the program, costs $850.     

The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce join forces to present the discussion of the economic health and the future of business in Pasadena.The Pasadena Business and Economic Summit is generously underwritten by the City of Pasadena.
