To be an effective economic and political force for our membership.

Vision Statement

Vision Statement: The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce will be recognized as an effective resource working to support the prosperity of our members and enhancing the business climate and quality of life in the Pasadena community registered

 

The Chamber will increase value to our members by serving their needs, supporting their interests, and providing a forum for advice and interaction through collaboration, education, and connecting with the community.

 

Member Services will be the hub of all Chamber activities, driving new member acquisition and member retention with the support of other committees.

  • We will achieve this by focusing on increasing value to our members;
  • We will help our members develop and maximize their business performance.
  • We will help our members develop and maximize their business performance and connect to do business together. We will build our local economy in collaboration with all stakeholders. We will support efforts to recruit companies to Pasadena, especially large companies.
  • We will represent the best interests of our members by serving as an effective advocate before local regional and federal governing bodies.
  • We will assist employers with identifying and hiring qualified workers to fill openings. We will assist those seeking employment in our local economy by connecting them with education, training and opportunities for employment.
  • We will enhance our support services and resources for members by using state-of-the-art computer, internet and mobile technology. The Chamber will market its services and benefits to prospective and existing members and the community using effective messaging through traditional and innovative means.

 

In the 21st century, the Chamber’s primary purpose remains supporting the prosperity of our members and enhancing of the business climate and quality of life in the greater Pasadena, California, area.

The Chamber’s goals, strategic plan and policies are established by a board of directors composed of 24 directors and four immediate past Chairs of the Board. 

With a sharp focus on providing value to members, the Economic and Business Development, Member Services, Workforce Development, Legislative and Government Affairs and Marketing and Technology Committees facilitate communication with members, provide input and direction to staff and ensure Chamber activities provide the support necessary to promote the prosperity of the membership.

Pasadena Chamber networking events regularly attract 75 to 100 participants.
Pasadena area. To do that, the Chamber maintains effective relationships with elected representatives and staff at the local, state and federal level ensuring that the interests of business are represented and the voice of business heard.

The Chamber also presents and aggressive calendar of events that serve our members and the greater Pasadena area. Our monthly networking Luncheon Alliance and Connection Breakfast provide an excellent opportunity for members to meet each other, generate contacts and leads, meet new friends and promote their business and enjoy the company of other local business people.

Our quarterly After Hours Social and Mixer is a fun way to meet people, network and enjoy the hospitality of local businesses and restaurants in a casual setting with food and drink available for free or to purchase.

Webinars and in-person workshops provide our members with valuable insights and information to help navigate regulatory changes, requirements and laws. These events also provide help and information related to effective and safe operation of businesses in the local markets.

The Chamber's major events bring members, the public and community leaders together to celebrate our Chamber, the Tournament of Roses and others in our community. Our Economic and Business Summit offers insights into our local economy as well as the regional, state, national and global economies.
