To be an effective economic and political force for our membership.

Vision Statement

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce will be recognized as an effective resource working to support the prosperity of our members and enhancing the business climate and quality of life in Pasadena, California.

  • The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association is a dynamic professional business support and advocacy organization.

In the 21st century, the Chamber’s primary purpose remains supporting the prosperity of our members and enhancing of the business climate and quality of life in Pasadena, California.

The Chamber’s goals, strategic plan and policies are established by a board of directors composed of 24 directors and four immediate past Chairs of the Board.  With a sharp focus on providing value to members, the Business Development, Member Services, Workforce Development and Legislative and Government Affairs Committees facilitate communication with members, provide input and direction to staff and ensure Chamber activities provide the support necessary to promote the prosperity of the membership.

Pasadena Chamber networking events regularly attract 75 to 100 participants.
Pasadena area. To do that, the Chamber maintains effective relationships with elected representatives and staff at the local, state and federal level ensuring that the interests of business are represented and the voice of business heard.

Our downtown shopping and entertainment districts, Old Pasadena, the Playhouse District, South Lake Avenue and other business associations, along with the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Pasadena, partner with the Chamber in helping build a vibrant economic and employment base. The Chamber is an active partner with the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership, the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles County Business Federation (BizFed) and other regional entities. The Pasadena Chamber also collaborates with our fellow chambers in Burbank and Glendale, as well as throughout the San Gabriel Valley and greater Los Angeles area on events, activities, advocacy and programs.

The profitable operation of the Rose Bowl, the production of the annual Tournament of Roses® and many other activities are touched by the Chamber. The Chamber also works closely with community based organizations and non-profits to enhance the lives of citizens and impact the quality of life for those in the greater Pasadena area.
