Your privacy is one of our primary concerns. Pasadena Chamber makes every effort to provide you with a safe and private environment. This Privacy Policy tells you what information we gather and how we use it. It applies to the following Pasadena Chamber websites: Pasadena-Chamber.org Pasadenarestaurantweek.com. and any other site on which this Privacy Policy is identified as the applicable Privacy Policy (collectively referred to as "Pasadena Chamber Sites"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to affiliate websites that have published their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy also does not apply to the websites of our business partners or to any third parties, even if their websites are linked to Pasadena Chamber Sites. We recommend you review the privacy policies of the other parties with whom you interact.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Business Partners" means any subcontractor, vendor or other entity with whom we have an ongoing business relationship to provide products, services or information. 

Information We Collect

We may ask you to provide personal information when you:

  • Use Pasadena Chamber Sites;
  • Request services, support or information;
  • Place orders for products or services;
  • Participate in surveys, sweepstakes or other promotional activities;
  • Share Pasadena Chamber content through social media;
  • Subscribe to newsletters, download white papers or other materials or;
  • Contact us.

Information we may request includes, but is not limited to, your email address, name, title, address, telephone number, social media public profile, advocacy areas of interest, advocacy contacts or business/company information. If you make a purchase, we may ask for your credit card number and billing information. Forms that you may fill in will indicate whether information requested is required or optional.

We also collect information about your visits to Pasadena Chamber Sites, including the pages you view, the links and ads you click, search terms you enter, and other actions you take in connection with Pasadena Chamber Sites and services. In addition, we collect certain information from the browser you used to access a Pasadena Chamber Site, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and language, access times, the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the website that referred you to the Pasadena Chamber Site and to which website you browse.

Information Usage

Pasadena Chamber uses your personal information to:

Disclosing Your Information

Pasadena Chamber shares your information with Business Partners to carry out the transactions you request, to provide services to you, to provide you with information you may find useful (for example, partner discounts and advocacy updates), to customize and improve our products and services, so that you can share through social media, and/or to update records. In addition, we may disclose your information when legally required or to protect our rights.

Collection and Use of Children’s Information

Pasadena Chamber Sites are not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 years. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not submit any personal information through Pasadena Chamber Sites without the express consent and participation of a parent or guardian.

Cookies and Tracking

Pasadena Chamber Sites use "cookies" to enable you to sign in to our services and to track your traffic patterns. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your computer's hard drive. Cookies help us personalize and make improvements to Pasadena Chamber Sites so that you can have a pleasant and productive experience. Pasadena Chamber does not respond to web browser “do not track signals” at this time. If we do so in the future, we will describe how we do so in this Privacy Policy.

Email Marketing

Some marketing you receive, including email marketing, may also be personalized based on your visits to Pasadena Chamber Sites. In addition, when you click on some links in the email marketing, our email service provider may place a cookie on your browser. This cookie would be linked to your email address and used to gather information about the products and services you view on Pasadena Chamber Sites. Information gathered may be used to personalize and customize future email marketing messages you receive. You may opt out of receiving email marketing by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in the email message you receive from Pasadena Chamber.

Notification of Privacy Changes

Pasadena Chamber reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. When changes are made, they will be posted to Pasadena Chamber Sites immediately with a revised Effective Date. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy.

Third Party Sites

Please be aware that other websites that may be accessed through Pasadena Chamber Sites may collect personal information about you. The information practices of those third-party web sites are not covered by this Privacy Policy. PASADENA CHAMBER DOES NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PRACTICES OF ENTITIES, WEBSITES AND/OR OTHER SITES NOT OWNED BY THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND CIVIC ASSOCIATION OF PASADENA.

Credit Card Data

Pasadena Chamber recognizes your concerns about web commerce and transactions using bank and credit card information. Therefore, Pasadena Chamber is committed to keeping personal information secure during commerce transactions by using a secured SSL encryption with all direct transactions that involve using credit card or banking information.

The goal for editorial content on Pasadena-Chamber.org is to be accurate, fair, complete and ethical. We are committed to a policy of editorial neutrality.           Users who have specific questions about legal issues should consult with legal counsel.

Content from External Sources and Links to External Sites

Content from external sources will be labeled to indicate the source of the information when the information was not generated by the Website's editorial staff. Content on the site may contain links to non-Pasadena-Chamber.org content. These links do not constitute an endorsement of the linked content and Pasadena Chamber.com does not guarantee the accuracy of the linked content.

Corrections and Clarifications

We are committed to quickly correcting any factual errors or errors in interpretation. Editorial staff members will address any errors brought to their attention and make an appropriate correction as soon as possible. This includes misspellings as well as factual or information errors identified in archival articles after they have been published. The goal is to correct all content so no errors remain in our permanent archive. We also will provide clarifications in cases where, in our judgment, the wording or the headline on an article may lead to misinterpretation.
