Glenarm GT5 Repower Project Opportunity Fair for Pasadena Businesses
Date: January 8, 2014 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM: Meet the Prime Contractors and City Technical Assistance Providers

Pasadena, California
The purpose of the Glenarm GT5 Repowering Project is to build a new 71 MW combined cycle power plant to replace the 71 MW B3 steam plant which nearing the end of its useful life. The new GT5 will generate the same amount of power using less natural gas and water while also producing fewer emissions. The project is scheduled to begin commercial operation in 2016.
This Meet and Greet provides an opportunity for local contractors and vendors to meet the prime contractors currently bidding on the Glenarm project as well as providing information to our local businesses. Our goal is that the Bidders can collaborate with Pasadena businesses to exchange contact information, discuss the Bidders needs, understand the capabilities that are available within Pasadena, and discuss possible opportunities that will help to create relationships that lead to ongoing opportunities for Pasadena businesses.
Pasadena Businesses:
Come and pitch your product, services, and supplies to prime bidders and their primary subcontractors bidding on the Project. Local contracting opportunities may include but are not limited to:

The City of Pasadena is conducting outreach to determine level of interest of local businesses to provide UNDERGROUND UTILITY CONVERSION for the City of Pasadena. If your company is interested in this potential opportunity, the form attached should be completed and submitted along with the general requirement items (noted in the attached) to the Department of Finance at 100 N.
