Boston Court Kicks-Off its 20th Anniversary with a Summer Soiree

Free Community Event offers Live Music, Art, and Food
Saturday, June 3, 4-8pm

Boston Court, Pasadena’s premier nonprofit performing art center, kicks off its 20th Anniversary with a Summer Soiree, a dynamic afternoon and evening of free entertainment, including special musical performances by jazz trumpeter Nolan Shaheed, interactive art and theater activities, food, and a unique behind-the-scenes tour of Boston Court's intimate performing arts venue.

For 20 years, Boston Court has garnered national acclaim for presenting unexpected work and underrepresented voices. Audiences look to Boston Court for groundbreaking art, music, and theater experiences they simply can’t find anywhere else.

“Z. Clark Branson built Boston Court as a tribute to the intimate performing arts scene. He wanted to give artists the opportunity to boldly create and collaborate in a well-appointed facility as well as give the community a beautiful environment to experience that art up close,” stated Boston Court’s Founding Producer Eileen T’Kaye. She continued, ”We are so proud of Boston Court Pasadena and beyond grateful to everyone who has played a part over these past 20 years.”

Every day, the Boston Court team dreams up new ways to challenge audiences, amplify new voices, and drive social change. With a profound commitment to experimentation and risk, Boston Court produces more than 100 musical, art, and theatrical performances annually, including adventurous, never-before-seen work and significantly re-envisioned classics. In addition, we also showcase rotating visual art exhibitions and feature an annual New Play Reading Festival.

Boston Court is a 501(c) nonprofit that relies on public and private support to provide its distinctive selection of one-of-a-kind performances. To learn more about the event and Boston Court, visit www.BostonCourtPasadena.org. To RSVP visit our Eventbrite Page.
