Pasadena Chamber Golf Tournament brought community and corporate leaders, Chamber members and friends to Brookside for an afternoon of golf and fun

April 7th was a gloriously sunny day at Brookside Golf Club as Chamber members, community and civic leaders and friends came together for an afternoon of fun and golf.

Gold Sponsor Corporate Center Pasadena hosted two foursomes, while silver sponsors Pacific Commerce Bank, Parsons Corporation and IUOE, Local 12, each fielded a foursome in the tournament. City leaders, including City Manager Steve Mermel and City Clerk Mark Jomsky also competed alongside Chamber members and friends.

The Tournament was won by a team from Corporate Center Pasadena, consisting of Natalie Bazarevotsch, Ryan Peterson, Shadd Walker and Jordan Gaffney, with a score of 58. Witha score of 60, second place went to Paul Groom, Brian Colvin, Cabot Benavidez and Hector Gonzales representing TeamLogic IT. Third place went to the Honda Pasadena team with jeff Christoffel, Mitch Gardner, Matt Nakatani and Steve Hyler, with a score of 61.

Patty Waggoner won the longest drive competition among the women. Brian Colvin hit the ball the farthest in the longest drive hole, while Matt Read was closest to the pin. Steve Hyler won the putting contest. The team from IUOE, Local 12, won the Red Ball competition.

Acura of Glendale donated the hole-in-one prize car, though no one won. Ruth's Chris Steak House provided on-course food.

Golfers were treated to a bbq lunch prior to teeing off.
Pasadena City Manager Steve Mermell and City Clerk Mark Jomsky were joined on the links by Economic Development Manager Eric Duyshart and John McAustin.
