Margaret Brown of Anroma Group/Socialize LA is helping organize a Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Social Media Networking Group.

This virtual networking group is intended to enhance the social media and online presence of participating Pasadena Chamber members.

Participation in the group is voluntary and restricted to Pasadena Chamber of Commerce members and their employees.

The purpose of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Social Media Networking Group is to:

  • Connect with chamber members online
  • Build your online network through your chamber membership

Participant Requirements:

  • Membership in the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce;
  • Presence on any of the major social networks (Facebook Page, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google Plus);
  • Commitment to engaging with your fellow "Pasadena Chamber Social Media Networking Group" members through social media (and other ways, too).

Monthly Virtual Meetup Agenda:

  • Every month the group will get an eblast showing
    • new members
    • participant submitted info
    • chamber news to tweet
    • important dates
    • special events for the group
  • In addition, we will organize:
    • Introductions via phone, Twitter, or Facebook group
    • member and connection stats from prior month
    • Email distribution of new participants
    • Participants share social media successes
    • Participants ask questions to the group

We'll provide each Social Media Networking Group member with the social media contacts for everyone wanting to take part. Simply add the members to your social media outlets, Friend Facebookers, Follow Twitter tweeters, etc. and they will do the same.
