The Pasadena Police Foundation is hosting its annual breakfast in-person with Pasadena’s Honorable Mayor Victor Gordo and Interim Chief of Police, Jason Clawson at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2021. The event will be held at the Pasadena Civic Center at 300 East Green Street Pasadena, CA 91101 in Ballroom D&E. Local paid parking is available at the Civic Center and across the street at the Paseo Parking Lot.
The event is intended to give residents, members of the business and non-profit community, and friends an opportunity to hear about the current goals and accomplishments of the Pasadena Police Department (PPD). The Police Foundation’s Annual Breakfast is also an opportunity to see first-hand how the Foundation fulfills its mission to support the planning, development, and implementation of programs and activities of the Department and vital programs such as, the Kids Safety Academy, the Junior Public Safety Academy, the Explorer Program, the Police K-9 Unit and resources to enhance community safety.
This year we are raising funds to continue our efforts supporting local Pasadena youth. The global pandemic had a significant impact on the education of local children. Education is one of the most important factors in determining the wellbeing of our local community and we hope through our efforts to continue to ensure that our local youth are provided the best opportunities to succeed.
I addition to raising funds for youth we will be honoring Interim Chief Jason Clawson for his years of service and holding a special tribute to founding member Honorable John J. Kennedy. We hope that you will join us for this great event.
