The Pasadena Police Foundation is hosting its annual breakfast with Pasadena's Police Chief of Police, Gene Harris at 7:00 a.m. registration 8:00 a.m. Program, and ends at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday October 19, 2023 at NOOR Restaurant located at 300 E Colorado Blvd #200, Pasadena, CA 91101 in the Sofia Ballroom.

The fundraising event is intended to give residents, members of business, non-profit community, and friends an opportunity to meet with Police Chief Gene Harris and hear about the current goals and accomplishments of the Pasadena Police Department (PPD). The Police Foundation's Annual Breakfast is also an opportunity to see first-hand how the Foundation fulfills its mission to support the planning, development, and implementation of programs and activities of the Department and vital programs such as, the Kids Safety Academy, the Junior Public Safety Academy, the Explorer Program, and other Police resources that enhance community safety.
Last year the breakfast raised money to fund multiple youth-based community programs and purchase laptops for graduating seniors. Since last year's event we've invested $30,000 in these programs. We also honored Officer Cpl. Jordan Ling with the 2022 Myron Yanish Officer of the Year Award for his impressive community outreach, and Carlan Lopez with the Bernard K. Melekian Outstanding Youth Award for his efforts toward a career in law enforcement, he shared a powerful story.
This year we are raising funds to support our various youth programs including the Kids Safety Academy, and the Explorer Program, the new Wellness Program, and Canine Unit. Funds from this year's fund raiser will support these programs and scholarships for Camp Pasadena which provides an environment for youth and young adults to work with officers, build life skills and self-reliance, and the possibility of a police career. The Explorer program is for youth ages 14-21 thinking of a career in law enforcement. The Pasadena Police Explorer program currently has over 40 young people who are active in civic engagement, public service, and leadership roles within the community.

- Chief Foundation Sponsor: $5,000 Includes a VIP table for 8 guests
- Commander Foundation Sponsor: $2,500 Includes 4 VIP seats
- Lieutenant Foundation Sponsor: $1,000 Includes 2 VIP seats
