Hodis Learning & Music (HLM) offers academic tutoring, music lessons, and art lessons. We serve students with one-on-one sessions to provide dedicated attention and tailored instruction to our students’ needs. We conduct sessions virtually, in the student’s home, or in a public space, such as a coffee shop or a public library. HLM is not your run-of-the-mill tutoring or music or art lessons company. We go above and beyond when it comes to serving our students by teaching with the HLM philosophy of expertise, kindness, and positive motivation.

I help people sell antiques, art, coins, jewelry and entire estates. I broker for 16 auctions. Every auction has plus and minus side. I endeavor to get what you need to sell to the right auction at the right time to get you as much money as possible. I am not a dealer, I do not buy from my clients, I work on a percentage basis. So the more money I make for you, the more I make for me. That is a win win situation.

I am also an appraiser and can create a written appraisal for Insurance, Estate or Tax purposes. USPAP certified.

Li Mei Art World is a studio and gallery where Li Mei Norton crafts her original paintings and commissioned works. Her work celebrates the human spirit and the cultures of the world. She specializes in portraiture, producing paintings of families and loved ones to be passed down from generation to generation.

Li Mei Artworld is also a space for artists, musicians, filmmakers, and other creatives to exhibit their work and host events. Her mission is to support artists in Pasadena and neighboring areas and build community by providing a beautiful space that is affordable.  

The mission of Pacific Crest Youth Arts Organization is to provide superior educational and competitive performing arts programs that change the lives of young people in the greater Southern California region and prepare them for leadership in a fast-moving world.

Design and Creative Services

Pasadena Heritage’s mission is to identify, preserve and protect the historic, architectural and cultural resources of the City of Pasadena through advocacy and education. This membership supported, community-based non-profit offers a variety of tours, lectures, workshops, and events that highlight our beautiful city’s historic treasurers. Founded in 1924 to preserve and share the rich history, art, and culture of Pasadena and neighboring communities, Pasadena Museum of History has developed into one of the country premier institutions of its size. The Museum maintains the area's largest and most comprehensive collection of documents and artifacts relating to the history of Pasadena/West San Gabriel Valley. Tours of historic Fenyes Mansion, changing exhibitions in the History Center, and public programming for adults and children entertain and educate visitors on a year-round schedule.

Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts presents the Pasadena Showcase House of Design home tour. The funds raised supports music programs in the greater Pasadena area and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Pasadena Symphony Association's mission is to provide orchestral perfomances of the highest quality and to benefit the community through its music, community engagement, and education programs. The Pasadena Symphony performs its Symphony Classics series from October through April at Ambassador Auditorium and its Pasadena POPS series at the Los Angeles County Arboretum during the summer months. The Pasadena Symphony Association has served the youth of the region for over five decades through the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestras comprised of five performing ensembles with 300 gifted students from all over Southern California.

Ten Thousand Villages is a nonprofit fair trade retailer that specializes in unique handmade gift items that support social enterprise groups in more than 35 countries around the world. We are recognized in the community as a source for unusual home decor, jewelry, and unusual artwork and craft items. Ten Thousand Villages is also known for its mission to create opportunities for artisans in developing countries to earn income through bringing their products and their stories to our store on South Lake.

Established in 1971, USC Pacific Asia Museum is one of only four museums in the United States exclusively dedicated to the arts of Asia and the Pacific Islands. The museum houses 5,000 years of artistic expression from across Asia and the Pacific in a California historic landmark building. Visitors will enjoy a mix of contemporary and historic exhibitions and a wide variety of enriching public programs all year round.
