Advanced Meter installation coming to Pasadena

Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) is upgrading our metering system by adding a communication device to all residential and business natural gas meters. Your gas usage is still measured the same way it is today, but with the advanced meter, it is automatically and securely transmitted to our customer service and billing center.

Government News: U.S. Government shutdown and default looms…

The United States Government is on the verge of a partial shutdown and default on debt payments.

As of Sunday afternoon, September 29th, the Congress has been unable to agree to raise the nation's debt limit to avoid default on payments and a shutdown of all but essential federal government services.

Last week Republicans in the House voted to support raising the debt limit only if the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) implementation is delayed.

In Memoriam: former Chamber Board President Gil McCoy

Former Chair of the Board of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Gil McCoy passed away recently.

Gil was a terrific friend to the Chamber and an energetic contributor to the City of Pasadena.
