The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce honored 2017 Tournament of Roses Association President Brad Ratliff at the annual President’s Breakfast at the Westin Pasadena on Thursday, December 1, 2016. Mr. Ratliff was accompanied by his wife, Susan and parents Dick and Susan Ratliff. (Dick is a former President of the Tournament.)

Christmas trees are among the most flammable items in homes and businesses at this—or any—time of the year.  A dry tree may literally explode and be consumed by fire in a matter of seconds.

When holiday trees are placed in any area where the public may gather, the California Code of Regulations requires that they be treated with a flame-retardant solution or process approved by the State Fire Marshal.

As always we’ll reminisce, eat too much, rest and make our Christmas plans. The sweet sentiment of gratefulness apparent on Thanksgiving Day should always shine in our lives. City of Pasadena and Chamber collaborated to present…

The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce hosted our fourth Business and Economic Summit at the University Club of Pasadena on October 25, 2016. Tracy Hernandez of the Los Angeles County Business Federation (BizFed) presented information on issues, concerns and the outlook of business in the region. Eric Duyshart of the City of Pasadena highlighted the Pasadena economy and some select development projects in the city.
