Help Out a Good Cause This Holiday Season-Ring a Bell for the Salvation Army-18+ Teen Need a Holiday Job? They Can Ring, Too.

The iconic Red Kettle campaign began many years ago in 1891 in San Francisco to raise money to provide Christmas dinner to those in need. This tradition has now become one of The Salvation Army’s main fundraisers allowing them to provide services year-round. Some of these services include food for low-income and homeless individuals and families, backpacks for students in need, Thanksgiving & Christmas meals, toys for children of families in need at Christmas, and much more. All monies raised at our Pasadena Red Kettles stays within and helps the greater Pasadena area.

Salvation Army Bell Ringer

Businesses are encouraged to partner with The Salvation Army Pasadena this Christmas in one of two ways. Businesses can choose to sign up for eight hours on a Saturday or Sunday and get their employees involved by having them sign-up for an hour or two that they ring the bell. There will also be a sign made that will say, “Thank you to (business name) for hosting this kettle”. Another way businesses can get involved is by sponsoring a kettle for a day. If you do not have enough employees to bell ring, you can choose to give a $500 donation to sponsor one of our paid locations for the day. There will also be a sign made that will say, “Thank you to (business name) for sponsoring this kettle.”
