Luncheon Alliance
Join us on Wednesday, September 4th at 11:45 am at the Altadena Town and Country Club for our lunchtime networking event. Women's Business Momentum Center sponsors the lunch. Learn how WBMC can enhance your business through support and training. RSVP to kelly@pasadena-chamber.org by 5pm on Thursday, August 29th. Members who RSVP in advance pay $20, non-members who reserve by the deadline pay $25. Those who reserve after the deadline or show up at the door pay an additional $5. Altadena Town and Country Club is located at 2290 Country Club Drive, near Holliston and Mendocino, in Altadena.

Connection Breakfast
Villa Esperanza Services sponsors our Connection Breakfast on Thursday, September 12 at 7am at Courtyard by Marriott in Old Pasadena. Learn about the range of services Villa Esperanza provides to their clients and what services they offer for businesses. Cost to attend is $20 for Pasadena Chamber members who reserve in advance and $25 for non-member who reserve by 5pm Monday, September 9. Those who do not reserve by the deadline or who show up at the door pay $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Reserve by calling 626-795-3355 or email kelly@pasadena-chamber.org.
Anyone wishing one of the vegetarian options for breakfast MUST inform Kelly before 5pm on Monday, September 9th. If you do not meet the deadline, your vegetarian option cannot be met.
Pasadena Chamber After Hours Social and Mixer
The Westin Pasadena in Pasadena hosts our September Pasadena Chamber After Hours Social and Mixer. Come out to experience their newley remodeled and reopend bar and restaurant. Enjoy Savory Snacks and Sips along with fellowship, networking and fun with your fellow Pasadena Chamber members. Come out to enjoy their cocktails at 191 North Los Robles Avenue in Pasadena. Admission is FREE for Pasadena Chamber members. Others pay $10 for admittance. Parking is available in the lot under the buisling. (Enter from Union Street.)
SIP-tember: a Celebration of the Cocktail Continues
Vote for your favorites as competition in the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge continues with round two through Wednesday, September 11th. 32 cocktails made it to the second round. SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge Finale and Taste of Pasadena September 26th
Join us at the Rose Bowl on Thursday, September 26th from 6pm to 9pm for the Taste of Pasadena and the finale of the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge. You can judge the four finalist cocktails in the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge nad vote for your favorite as we crown Pasadena's Favorite Cocktail of 2013. Eighteen of Pasadena's favorite restaurants and caterers will provide food and drink samples to those in attendance. Cost for the Taste of Pasadena and SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge Finale is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Hi Neighbor! Pasadena Crown City Chorus has become one of the newest members of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. We are celebrating with a "Ribbon Cutting" on Thursday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m. The ceremony will take place at our rehearsal hall at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1757 North Lake Avenue. We will gather in the hall directly off the parking lot behind the church. Established more than 65 years ago, the Pasadena Crown City Chorus was formed to give a supportive venue for all who want to sing in a capella, barbershop style harmony. The chorus performs several times a year in public and competes twice a year with some of the best singers in the world. We invite all members to attend and share with us the initial Chamber of Commerce event with the chorus. Refreshments will be served.
On Monday, September 23rd from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM we cut the ribbon on new Pasadena business Homestreet Bank at 225 S. Lake Ave., Suite 830 in Pasadena.
- On Saturday Oct 5 we will be celebrating a ribbon cutting and Grand Re-opening of StarMakers Costumes & Parties. It will be at 12 noon at 605 N Lake Avenue Pasadena. Come preview and get Halloween 2013 costumes. The party will continue All weekend long and all month. Come walk our red carpet, take photos in costumes and share with your friends! There will be music, games and door prizes. We will also be celebrating Q's 5 year anniversary of owning StarMakers. We can't wait. There will be something for everyone and we hope you can be there as this will be our best October ever!
