OUR INAUGURAL GALA DREW 200 CHAMBER MEMBERS, FRIENDS, COMMUINTY AND POLITICAL LEADERS TO CELEBRATE BILL UKROPINA'S BECOMING CHAIR OF THE BOARD
CalTech/JPL and Union Station Homeless Services named Corporate Citizens, scholarship award to emancipated foster youth.
200 people joined us for our Inaugural Gala on Friday evening at the Langham Huntington Pasadena to witness the installation of commercial realtor Bill Ukropina of Coldwell Banker Commercial as chair of the board for 2026-27.
Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo welcomed guests. Congresswoman Judy Chu was on hand to swear in Mr. Ukropina. Mr. Ukropina then swore in the Pasadena Chamber Executive Committee and Board.
Prior to the gourmet dinner specially prepared by the Langham chefs for the evening, a hosted cocktail reception featured specialty appetizers and music provided by Lola Bard Productions.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Corporate Citizen of the Year awards to CalTech/Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Union Station Homeless Services. Pasadena Chamber Foundation Scholarships were awarded to two emancipated foster youth who are granduating from local community colleges and going on the four year colleges or universities. Tom Daly of Chamber member Womble Bond Dickinson awarded a $1,500 scholarship to another deserving student, also an emancipated foster youth.
