DineLA Restaurant Week

150 members and friends joined us for our July Chamber After Hours mixer at Fleming's Prime Steak House and Wine Bar. Guests were hosted with wine and delicious appetizers. 

Thank you Maria and the staff at Fleming's for treating us to delicious food and drink with great and cheerful service.

Craftsman Weekend with Pasadena Heritage

Each year, Pasadena Heritage’s Craftsman Week celebrates the enduring beauty, craftsmanship, and cultural legacy of the Arts and Crafts movement in Pasadena and beyond. Through a thoughtfully curated series of interior tours, walking tours, lectures, exhibitions, and hands-on craft demonstrations, the week invites the public to experience historic architecture and traditional artistry in meaningful and inspiring ways.

Tickets will be available during the Member Pre-Sale beginning on Tuesday, August 18th, and they will open to the general public on Tuesday, September 1st. Events sell out quickly, so be sure to become a member if you are not already!

Friends of Pasadena Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Pasadena Public Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the patio of The Friends Bookstore, 1500 East Villa Street (between Hill and Allen Avenues) east of the Jefferson Branch Library. The book sale offers a broad range of used books, DVDs, CDs, LPs and lots of children’s books. Need a summer read? Fill a paper grocery bag with books from the patio for $5. Then visit the bookstore and fill a bag with more items. Premium and $5 books are 1/2 off. Cash, checks, major credit and debit cards and mobile wallets (Apple Pay, PayPal and Zelle) are accepted.

Rose Court Applications Opened August 1!

The search for the 2027 Rose Court begins August 1, 2026. Eligible students are invited to apply online for the opportunity to represent the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, serve their community, and receive a $7,500 educational scholarship. They meet at 7:30am at Rosebud Coffee at Sierra Madre and Colorado (2302 E. Colorado). There is no cost, you just have to buy something from Rosebud.
