CHEESEBURGER CHALLENGE® GIVES PATRONS A CHANCE TO SUPPORT THEIR FAVORITES BY VOTING ONLINE IN MULTIPLE CATEGORIES
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Cheeseburger Week® Passport program to honor the 100th anniversary of Lionel Sternberger’s invention of the cheeseburger at The Rite Spot in Pasadena. Sixteen participating restaurants will stamp a holders passport after a purchase. The Chamber will provide prizes to those who get four, eight, twelve or a full card of sixteen stamps.
Lionel Sternberger was sixteen years old when he invented the cheeseburger at his father’s roadside stand, The Rite Spot in 1924.
We really want to make 2024 a special Cheeseburger Week®. The Cheeseburger Passport gives restaurants another way to be involved in the celebration and patrons an opportunity to visit old favorites and new venues to experience wonderful cuisine and collect stamps to win prizes.
A purchase is required from each restaurant to receive a stamp. The Passport can only be stamped during Cheeseburger Week® 2024 at participating restaurants.

Passports must be redeemed for prizes at the Pasadena Chamber offices before February 15, 2024. Only one entry/passport per person is allowed and each must be redeemed individually by the person claiming the prize. Photo ID will be required to receive the prize. Anyone trying to submit duplicates will be disqualified from receiving a prize.
Save your receipts, proof of purchase is required to redeem prizes.

For 2024, Cheeseburger Week® celebrants can vote for their favorites from among participating Pasadena Chamber of Commerce members in the Cheeseburger Challenge®.
The Cheeseburger Challenge is an online poll hosted at pasadenarestaurantweek.com. Voting is online beginning on Sunday, January 21st. Voting ends at 6pm on Sunday, January 28th.
The only poll asks voters to select their favorites in several categories. Every Cheeseburger Week® participating restaurant is entered in the Favorite Cheeseburger category. Others can choose two additional categories, such as Favorite Throwback/Traditional Cheeseburger, Favorite Bar Burger, Favorite Sliders, Favorite White Table-cloth Cheeseburger, Favorite Gourmet Cheeseburger and Favorite Cheeseburger Alternative. Other categories feature Vegan/Vegetarian burgers, Favorite Dessert After a Cheeseburger and more.
